Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and professional candidate to provide television broadcast engineering services. This is a contract position. Travel will be necessary to accommodate equipment located in various locations.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the installation and maintenance of video, audio, and other equipment associated with television broadcasting. This includes, but is not limited to server-based record and play-out systems, non-linear editors, production switchers, routing switchers, MPEG encoders and decoders, automation, and broadcast transmission and distribution equipment.

Requirements:

– Hold a valid driver’s license
– Must be flexible to accommodate shift changes including extended hours, weekends, and evenings
– Minimum of five years broadcast experience
– Working knowledge of broadcast station operations
– Comprehensive knowledge of IT equipment within the television stations, including network systems, switches, routers and computers
– Understanding of video streaming, encoding and decoding
– Document daily work, provide the status of ongoing projects and create wiring diagrams
– A background check will be required.

Sales Manager

Office Assistant

Our company is looking for an Office Assistant to be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.

In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.

Responsibilities:

– Handling incoming calls and other communications.

– Managing filing system.

– Recording information as needed.

– Greeting clients and visitors as needed.

– Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.

– Helping organize and maintain office common areas.

Broadcast System Design

This position will report to the Vice President of Engineering. The Broadcast Systems Design engineer will be responsible for designing systems, maintaining and troubleshooting broadcast equipment, assisting with integration projects, and working on remote production assignments as needed. We are looking for a well-rounded Broadcast Systems engineer who can assist in the creation of engineering signal flow synoptic diagrams and rack elevations. A complete understanding of broadcast and IT network technology is essential. Working independently at a high level is a requirement. This position will assist the VP of Engineering with integration projects such as planned system upgrades, new facility design, equipment maintenance, and consult on future technical expansion for internal and external clients. This position will also support production staff as needed in studio and or remote productions.

Essential functions of the Broadcast Systems Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:

– Provide technical support for technical facilities within the production environment and ensure all equipment is running correctly on client productions
– Handle integration projects of both small and large scale
– Be able to read, understand and develop broadcast engineering AutoCAD design drawings
– Wiring systems including terminating video, audio, control and network cables
– Work independently or with external vendors on integration projects and supporting equipment commissioning and training
– Able to positively interface with clients and install teams
– Assist with planned system upgrades and expansion of projects
– Perform customer equipment maintenance as needed, occasionally working outside of normal business work hours

Requirements:

– Minimum of 5 years of broadcast systems engineering design experience
– Knowledge of live production environments
– Understanding of system integration techniques
– Strong knowledge of IP Video systems
– Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
– Ability to work late shift and weekends as needed
– Ability to travel for project-based assignments as needed
